Ernst Named to SynapseSports.com All-Rookie Team
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University women's lacrosse midfielder Amy Ernst (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) has been named to SynapseSports.com's Division II All-Rookie team, it was announced on Tuesday.
Ernst is one of 16 to make the All-Rookie team, with players from every Division II school eligible regardless of region or conference. In her first collegiate season, Ernst produced eight goals and two assists for 10 points, while also placing fifth on the team in ground balls (23) and fourth in draw controls (23).
The freshman was previously named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie team on May 3. She helped Bentley go 13-6 overall this season and advance to the NE-10 semifinals for the first time since 2007. The Falcons were ranked No. 9 in Division II in the IWLCA's most recent poll, which was released May 7.
