Falcons Ranked No. 8 in IWLCA Poll for 4th Straight Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the fourth straight week the Bentley University women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 8 in the IWLCA's Division II Poll. The Falcons have won five straight games and host No. 2 Adelphi on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Bentley, 10-4 on the season and 7-2 in the Northeast-10, picked up three more wins last week. They defeated No. 12 Merrimack 12-11 in 3OT, Assumption 13-8 and No. 15 Queens (N.Y.) 9-8.

With the NE-10 placing seven teams in the top-15 and a difficult non-conference schedule, Bentley has played eight teams in 2012 that are ranked this week. They've beaten New Haven (No. 6), Dowling (No. 11) and Merrimack and Queens. All four of Bentley's losses this season have been to teams ranked in the top-seven this week.

Le Moyne is the unanimous No. 1 team in Division II for the third straight week, followed by Adelphi at No. 2. Rollins, Limestone and C.W. Post make-up the rest of the top-five.
