A free-position goal by sophomore Carolyn Kynoch (Ashland, Mass./Ashland) got Bentley to within 11-9 with 7:37 remaining in the game. But freshman Sam McCarrick answered for Limestone at the 5:28 mark to push the lead back to two. The Falcons went into halftime tied 6-6 after netting the final three goals of the first half. Brown and Kynoch scored on free-position shots, and Geiger knotted the score up with the first of her two on the afternoon 3:38 before halftime.
Brown then gave Bentley a 7-6 advantage 24 seconds into the second half, but a 4-0 run by Limestone, with the first two goals scored by junior Chelsea Treat, put Limestone ahead for good.
