WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Maureen Fields (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield), a rising senior and 2011 co-captain, has been named to the Northeast-10 women's lacrosse All-Academic team, the conference announced Tuesday.

Fields is an economics-finance major and completed the 2010-11 academic year with a 3.70 grade point average. Named the team's Midfielder of the Year for the 2011 campaign, she has been a three-year starter. This past season, she was the team-leader in caused turnover (31) and ground balls (50), while being second in draw controls (30). She also scored two goals and handed out one assist.

Bentley finished last season with an overall record 9-8 and 7-5 in the NE-10, tying for sixth.
