WALTHAM, Mass. – After putting up her second double-double of the season in the regular season finale, Bentley University freshman post Ciara Norman (Roebling, N.J./Life Center Academy) has been named the Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference for the third time in the last seven weeks.

Norman scored a career-high 21 points, came up with 10 rebounds and drew 10 fouls as Bentley closed out the regular season with a 72-51 win over American International Tuesday. She made eight of 13 from the field, got to the line 14 times and was a plus-28 in her second career start.

Norman is Bentley's fourth leading scorer and second leading rebounder with averages of 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds. She has a .519 field goal percentage and has scored in doubles five times in the last eight games.

Bentley, 19-9, will host Pace University Thursday at 6 pm in the Northeast-10 Conference semifinals.
