Ceppi Selected for CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University graduate student Autumn Ceppi (Bedford/ Dana Hall School) has been named to the CoSIDA Division II Academic All-District 1 women's basketball team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

The Bucknell transfer will now advance to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America consideration.

Ceppi, a six-foot forward who has started every game for the 15-8 Falcons, averages 14.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 blocks. Other than assists, in which she ranks second, Ceppi leads the team in all those categories.

Ceppi, who played in 100 games at Bucknell before coming to Bentley as a graduate transfer, has four 20-point games and three double-doubles this season, with most of those coming this month. On Tuesday, in the regular season finale against Saint Anselm, she scored a career-best 26 points and collected 11 rebounds in a 73-62 win.

Ceppi excelled in the classroom as a Bucknell undergraduate and has continued the success at Bentley where she is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in leadership. She graduated Magna Cum Laude as a markets, innovation and design major and has a 3.67 GPA in graduate school.
