WALTHAM, Mass. – A five-game home stand for the Bentley University women's basketball team will conclude Wednesday with the Falcons hosting 10-2 Le Moyne College at the Dana Center. Game time is 5:30 pm with a free webcast available on NE10 NOW.

It'll be the third straight game in which coach Barbara Stevens' team will be facing a squad with two or less losses. After a 76-71 loss to then-unbeaten USciences on Dec. 28, the Falcons bounced back with a 74-59 victory over LIU Post that boosted the team's overall record to 13-1.

Bentley, which moved up one spot to tenth in this week's WBCA Division II poll, leads the Northeast-10's Northeast Division by two games entering the crossover portion of the schedule.

Le Moyne, the co-leader in the Southwest Division with records of 10-2 overall and 4-2 NE10, owns a win over 15th-ranked Florida Southern and is only a handful of points away from an unblemished record. The team's two losses were by two at Southern Connecticut State and one at Saint Rose.

Stevens, the fourth winningest coach in NCAA women's basketball history, has five players who own double-figure scoring averages, although one of those, senior guard Megan Lewis (Sevenoaks, England) has missed the last three games with an injury.

Sophomore guard Katie Meriggioli (Waunakee, Wis./Edgewood HS) and senior center Victoria Lux (Arundel, Maine/Thornton Academy) have alternated at the top of the Bentley scoring list with Meriggioli currently holding the top spot. She is averaging 12.8 points and is shooting 45 percent from three. Lux follows at 12.6 and is the Falcons' top rebounder at 6.6.

Senior guard Amy McConnell (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) is averaging 10.4 points after a career-high 21-point effort in the LIU Post victory. She leads the conference in three-point accuracy (.513) and is connecting at a 52 percent clip overall.

Junior forward Monica Viapiano (Holden/Wachusett Reg. HS) has been very efficient off the bench, averaging 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds while playing under 16 minutes a game. She's fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (.590) and seventh in points per 40 minutes (25.7).

Bentley is averaging 80 points a game, its highest production since the national championship season of 2013-14, and has a conference-best scoring margin of +20.4.

Le Moyne features diminutive guard McKayla Roberts, the reigning Northeast-10 Player of the Week and a second-team All-Conference honoree last year. Although only five-foot-two, the junior has come up big for the Dolphins. She's second in the NE10 in assists (5.8) and three-point shooting (.507), first in free throw percentage (.918) and fourth in scoring (17.6).

The Dolphins have also been receiving strong play from six-one grad student Corinne Poitevien (11.6 ppg, 8.3 rpg) as well as freshmen Cameron Tooley (9.3 ppg, 20/54 3's) and Jenna Zimmerman (9.2 ppg, 15/39 3's).

As a team, Le Moyne leads the NE10 in fewest turnovers (13.2) and ranks in the top three in three-pointers made (8.2), three-point accuracy (.417) and free throw percentage (.743).

In last year's meeting, Bentley erupted for 53 points in the second half to earn a 71-59 victory.

Bentley will be at Saint Rose Saturday before returning for two more home games next week.
