WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University women's basketball standout Tracie (Seymour) Robidoux, a 1992 graduate and a 1997 inductee into the Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame, has been selected for the Northeast-10 Conference Hall of Fame. The announcement was made Tuesday evening during the conference's annual banquet in Portsmouth, N.H.

Robidoux, who helped Bentley reach the NCAA Division II national semifinals during each of her four seasons and the 1990 national championship game, is the fourth former Bentley women's basketball player to earn a spot in the NE-10 Hall. She joins former teammate Kim (Penwell) Seymour '93, Alison (Fay) Casey '84 and Kim (Cummings) Singh '97.

"What a well-deserved honor for Tracie," said her coach and Women's Basketball Hall of Famer Barbara Stevens. "A tremendous athlete, Tracie could take over a game at both ends of the floor.  Her ability to score in a variety of ways made her almost impossible to defend.  When I think of all of the outstanding guards in our program's history, Tracie ranks as one of the very best to have played at Bentley.  We're extremely proud of her and congratulate her on her selection to the NE-10 Hall of Fame. "

In addition to the four appearances in the national semifinals, Robidoux helped the Falcons to the Northeast-10 regular season championship annually from 1989-92. The Falcons were 126-12 over that span, including 53-1 in regular season conference games from 1990-92. Each of her four seasons, Bentley broke the school record for consecutive wins.

Robidoux, a five-foot-nine guard, finished her career as the number two scorer in Bentley history with 1.652 points and currently ranks sixth on the all-time list. Her career averages included 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.5 steals with shooting percentages of .480 from the field and .768 from the line.

As a senior, Robidoux was selected as the team's MVP and as a first-team Kodak/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division II All-America after helping the Falcons to a 31-2 season. Her honors from that season also included Bentley's Outstanding Female Senior Athlete, MVP of the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs, All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Division II Championships, Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Division II Quarterfinals, Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Division II Regional, and for the second straight year, 1st-team All-Northeast-10.

In November 1990, Robidoux scored a school record 34 points in a game against Alaska-Anchorage, with that record standing for nearly 20 years.

A native of Chicopee who attended Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Robidoux now resides in Suffield, Conn.

Robidoux will be recognized during a Bentley home game during the 2012-13 season.
