Brennan Selected for Academic All-Northeast-10 Honors for 3rd Time

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Senior guard Kim Brennan (Locust Valley, N.Y./Locust Valley HS), the fifth leading scorer in Bentley University women's basketball annals, was recently selected to the Academic All-Northeat-10 Conference team for the third consecutive season.

Brennan concluded her stellar career by helping the Falcons reach the NCAA Division II Elite Eight for the first time in eight years. She was the Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA East Regional after scoring the game's final seven points in a 64-61 win over Pace University and earned All-Tournament honors in the NE-10 playoffs after averaging 18.7 points and 3.3 assists in three victories.

After leading the team in scoring as a junior, Brennan was more of a facilitator for the 2010-11 club after the Falcons added some offensive firepower. The second-team All-Conference honoree still averaged 11.4 points while delivering 136 assists.

Brennan finished her career five points shy of 1700 and five assists away from 500. She ranks in the top eight in Bentley history in at least 11 categories and averaged in double figures in each of her four collegiate seasons.

No one has ever played more minutes in a Bentley uniform than Brennan, who finished at 4,369, and her 126 career games started is tied for the most in the program history. She started every game over the last four seasons and topped the 1,000-minute mark annually.
