Bentley Women Climb to 15th in USA Today/ESPN Div. II Rankings

WALTHAM, Mass. -- The Bentley University women's basketball will enter this weekend's NCAA Division II East Regional ranked 15th in the latest USA Today/ESPN Division II coaches poll, which was announced Tuesday by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

It's a jump of two places in the rankings for the Falcons, who topped Franklin Pierce University on Sunday to claim their record 15th Northeast-10 Conference playoff championship. That win boosted coach Barbara Stevens' team to 25-4 on the season, the 17th time in the program's history that Bentley has had at least 25 wins.

Bentley will host the NCAA Division II East Regional this weekend, with the Falcons facing C.W. Post Friday at 6 pm in the opening round.
