Capobianco Qualifies for NCAA Championship and Falcons Finish 5th at East Regional
WALTHAM, Mass. – Sam Capobianco qualified for the NCAA Division II Championship in two weeks and the Falcons finished fifth as a team on Saturday at the NCAA Division II East Regional.
Capobianco ran the 10K course in 31:40.33 to earn an automatic qualifier spot. The NCAA Championship will take place in Joplin, Missouri on November 18.
As a team the Falcons were 5th with 180 points.
Cole Duval was Bentley's next best finisher in 34th with a time of 32:43.29.
Matt Chicko wasn't far behind in 38th with a time of 32:53.96. Mathew Sebastyn (33:20.92) and Max Lampe (33:35.03) were also in Bentley's top-five.
