WALTHAM, Mass. – After turning in a strong performance out in Minnesota on Saturday, Bentley University sophomore Ryan Cadorette (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) has been selected as the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference. It's the first time in his career he's received the honor.

Cadorette finished 29th overall in the Maroon Division II race at the Roy Griak Invitational, covering the 8,000-meter course in 27:02.2. He was tenth after one mile and 39th following 5K before finishing strong, moving up ten places. His mile pace was 5:26.3.

Cadorette was also Bentley's number one runner in his previous race this fall, placing 18th overall in 25:46.35 at the Dartmouth Invitational.

As a freshman in 2014, Cadorette was 39th overall in the Northeast-10 Championships and 68th in the NCAA Division II East Regional.

The next meet for the Falcons is the New Englands at Franklin Park on Oct. 10.
