Impressive Debut for Cadorette on Bentley Men’s Cross Country Team

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Bentley University freshman Ryan Cadorette (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) turned in an impressive showing in his college debut as he placed fourth overall in the Shacklette Men's Cross Country Invitational at Saint Anselm College.

Cadorette was fourth overall, covering the 8,000-meter course on a very hot and humid day in 27:23. He missed out on a top three performance by six seconds and finished 29 seconds after the individual champion, Assumption College senior Anthong Fierimonte.

Bentley, which did not run most of its experienced runners, was fifth of nine in the team standings with a score of 115. Merrimack College edged out Stonehill College for first place, 38-50, and both the University of New England and Assumption were also in front of the Falcons.

Bentley's number two runner was another freshman, Graham Chapski (East Greenwich, R.I./ East Greenwich HS). He was 13th overall in 28:14. Also in the top 30 for the Falcons was senior Christian Connolly (Kingston/Silver Lake Regional HS), 29th in 29:07.

Bentley's next action is the UMass-Dartmouth Shriners' Invitational on Sept. 20.
