SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bentley University's Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook, Mass./Holbrook HS) closed out her junior season Friday afternoon by earning All-New England honors at the New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Bryant University.

Ambroult placed sixth in a field of 21 in the long jump, following a jump of 18 feet, 1.5 inches. The school record holder in the event, she achieved her best effort of the competition on the last of her six jumps.

The highest finish for a member of the men's team came in the 400 meter hurdles with freshman Alex Lawes (Brick, N.J./Brick Township HS) 14^th among 27 competitors with a time of 56.76 seconds.

Bentley's top relay performance came in the 4x800 with the Falcons taking ninth in the 4x800 in 8:02.32. That quartet included senior Derek Pittorino (Westborough, Mass./Westborough HS), junior Brice Tolan (Abington, Mass./Abington HS) and a pair of sophomores, Matthew Chicko (North Andover, Mass./North Andover HS) and Finn Power (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme HS).

 The women's team finished 43^rd with three points.
