Haas & Nee Represent Bentley at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – Senior Sean Nee (West Yarmouth, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth Reg. HS) and junior Nik Haas (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey HS) represented the Bentley University men's track and field team by running the 1500 meters at the outdoor season-opening Raleigh Relays at North Carolina State University's Paul Derr Track Friday afternoon.

Haas was fourth among Division II runners and 25th of 61 overall with a time of 3:57.11. He placed eighth in his heat, which included two of the top four overall.

With a time of 3:57.70, Nee improved on his career best by just over nine seconds as he finished fifth among Division II athletes and 33rd overall. That elevated him to ninth on the program's all-time list in the 1500.

The massive meet attracted 100 NCAA programs, high school athletes and several professional athletes with more than 2,300 individual entries.

The rest of the team will open the outdoor season by competing in the Bridgewater Open Saturday.
