Falcons cruise to 6-1 victory over Stonehill

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's tennis team cruised to a dominant 6-1 victory over D-I Stonehill Tuesday afternoon.

The Falcons set the tone early by winning the doubles point. Gabe Horwitz and Nikolai Pran teamed up for a 6-4 win on the No. 2 court, while Ansh Chadha and Diego Ramos also won by a 6-4 margin on the No. 3 court.

Max Bonte battled to a three-set victory on the No. 1 singles court. He won the first set, 6-2, but then dropped the second, 1-6. Bonte bounced right back with a 6-2 victory in the third set.

Hortwitz won on the No. 2 singles court in two sets (6-3, 6-4), and Pran needed just two sets to win on the No. 3 singles court (7-6, 6-4). Chadha dominated on the No. 4 singles court (6-2, 6-0).

Ramos pulled off a come-from-behind win on the No 5 singles court. After dropping the first set, 6-1, Ramos won the next two sets, 6-1 and 7-6.

Bentley has another D-I opponent coming up when it travels to Bryant Thursday, April 11, for a 3 p.m. match.
