Bentley Defeats Endicott 8-0 in First Dual Match of Fall

BEVERLY, Mass. – Senior Jordan Soifer (Stamford, Conn./Westhill) was among three Falcons to win in both singles and doubles to help the Bentley men's tennis team to an 8-0 victory over Endicott on Thursday.

The Falcons picked up the victory in their first dual-match of the fall, before it was called due to rain.

Soifer and Max Bonte (Bradenton, Fla./St. Stephens) were winners in No. 1 doubles, 8-0 over Hudson De Risi and Antonio Marsallo.

Soifer took the No. 1 singles match, 6-1. 6-2 over Marsallo. Bonte was also victorious in No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-2 over Conrad Kadel for his second win of the day.

The other Falcon to win twice was freshman Nikolai Pran (Oslo, Norway). He teamed with junior Diego Ramos (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) for an 8-3 victory in No. 3 doubles. Pran then defeated Brayden Allen 6-0, 6-1 in No. 6 singles.

Gabe Horwitz (Lake Oswego, Ore./Lake Oswego) and Liam Marr (Franklin, Mass./Franklin) defeated Oliver Pope and Kadel in No. 2 doubles by an 8-5 score.

Bentley's next match is scheduled to be on Friday, weather permitting, at home against Eastern Nazarene.
