WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Daniel Weitz (Roslyn, N.Y./Roslyn) was named the Northeast-10's Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the second time in three weeks, the conference announced Tuesday.

Weitz went 4-0 in singles play during Bentley's Florida spring break trip, in which the team went 4-1 overall. He began the trip with a three sets win in No. 4 singles against Florida Tech, 4-6, 6-2, 10-8. He then won three straight No. 3 singles matches, all in straight sets, against USciences, Cedarville and Bloomsburg.

On the season, Weitz is now 11-0 in dual match singles play. He was previously named Rookie of the Week on Feb. 27 after he posted singles wins against MIT and Endicott.

Bentley's 4-1 Florida trip saw them return home with a 9-4 overall record. They're scheduled to next play on Saturday at Le Moyne to begin the NE10 portion of the schedule.
