OCEANSIDE, N.Y. – Bentley picked up two wins in doubles play, followed by one singles, in a 6-3 defeat at Adelphi in a Northeast-10 men's tennis match Saturday afternoon.

Freshmen Brendan McCarthy (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth) and George Samander (Willemstad, Curacao/ISC) combined for an 8-4 win in the No. 2 doubles match. In the No. 3 match, Chase Rosa (Hampton, N.H/Berwick) and Sam Frye (Redlands, Calif./Redlands) posted an 8-4 win as well.

In singles, Evan Chomka (Warwick, R.I./Bishop Hendricken) took a three-set win in the No. 5 match, winning it 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.

The Falcons drop to 7-6 overall and 3-2 in NE-10 play, while Adelphi improves to 6-3 and 6-1. Bentley is back in action on Tuesday afternoon when they host Saint Michael's.
