Tanna Helps Bentley Down Eckerd 6-3

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Freshman Raghav Tanna (Burlington, Mass./Burlington) picked up two wins as Bentley got its spring break trip under way Sunday with a 6-3 win over Eckerd.

Tanna teamed with junior Lucas Wever (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) to win in No. 3 doubles over Robby Breece and Ben Levy 8-4. Tanna then went the distance with Jesus Silva in No. 6 singles, but pulled out a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 win.

Other winners for Bentley in singles were sophomore Jimmy Rindo (Lowell, Mass./Lowell), 6-4, 7-5 over Brian Hill in the second-flight. Sophomore Andrew Waddington (Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) was a 5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-2 winner over Connor Ohlsen in the fourth-flight, and senior Victor Suski (West Hartford, Conn./William Hall) got the better of Ben Levy in the fifth-flight, 7-5, 6-4.

The Falcons improve to 7-1 on the season. They're back in action Wednesday at Florida Tech.
