WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University moved on to the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Men's Tennis Tournament with a 5-0 sweep of Le Moyne Tuesday afternoon at the Waltham Athletic Club.

Bentley, seeded third, advances to the semifinals for the third straight year and will play at second-seeded Merrimack on Thursday. The Falcons earned a share of the NE-10 regular season title with a 5-4 win over Merrimack in the regular season finale.

The Falcons won all three doubles matches, then received wins in singles from sophomore Rodrigo Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) and junior Victor Suski (West Hartford, Conn./William Hall) to clinch the victory. Ribeiro defeated Ken Schiefer 6-1, 6-2 in the second-flight and Suski defeated Daryl Johnson 6-0, 6-2 in the fourth-flight.

In doubles, Ribeiro and sophomore Lucas Wever (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) beat Schiefer and Daniel Sullivan 8-6 in the top-flight. Juniors Alec Spycher (Sarasota, Fla./Saint Stephens Episcopal) and Zach Tuckman (Kinnelon, N.J./Morristown Beard School) bested Johnson and Joe Persia 8-2 in the second-flight, and Suski and freshman Andrew Waddington (Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) topped Alessandro Nieves and Michael Green 8-3 in the third-flight.

The Falcons improve to 11-7 overall and the Dolphins drop to 7-9.
