Falcons dominate at Keene State

KEENE, N.H. – The Bentley men's swimming & diving team dominated at Keene State Saturday, coming away with a 167-108 win.

Results

Owen Angkatavanich won the men's 1-m dive with a score of 168.30. He was also first in the 3-m dive (151.72).

The 200 medley relay team posted a first-place time of 1:39.71. Matthew Walden, John Zhang, Daniel Ivanchikov, and Daniel Lehr were on that team.

Walden took first place in the 200-freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:50.98. Patrick Tarka was close behind in second place (1:51.87).

Zhang won the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:07.89, while Tarka placed second (5:13.54).

Invachikov was the top swimmer in the 50-backstroke (26.86), and Kenneth Ryu took first in the 50-breaststroke (27.70).

The Falcons took first, second, and third place in the 100-butterfly. The event was led by Lehr (53.05), Jules Rouyer (57.84), and Peter Epp (59.41).

Bentley also took the first three finishes in the 50-freestyle: Zhang (22.28), Tyler Marzano (22.80), Jakub Zukowski (23.25).

Wellington Chen won the 100-freestyle with a time of 50.80, and Griffin Keliher was first in the 100-backstroke (58.20).

Kai West (1:07.41), Marzano (1:07.53), and Rodrigo Gomez (1:08.33) were the top three swimmers in the 100-breaststroke.  

Bentley's next meet is in the two in two weeks, when the Falcons compete in the three-day WPI Invitational (Dec. 1-3).
