Glick Doubles in Diving as Bentley Takes Care of Saint Rose, 120-85

ALBANY, N.Y. – Graduate diver Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) took first place in both one-meter competitions, helping the Bentley University men's swimming and diving team to a 120-85 win over The College of Saint Rose Sunday at Albany High School.

Glick, one of two double individual winners for the 3-0 Falcons, turned in scores of 244.50 and 165.90.

The other double-winner for Bentley was senior Anthony Vizental (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley HS) with first-place finishes in the 100 yard butterfly (52.42) and the 100 breaststroke (1:01.18).

Vizental was also part of the Falcons' winning 200 medley relay team, along with sophomore Kenneth Ryu (Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola HS), senior Ryan Looney (Wilton, Conn./Wilton HS) and freshman Liam Harris (Alfred, N.Y./Alfred Almond Central HS). Their time was 1:40.63.

Northeast-10 Conference season-best performances were achieved by Looney in the 50 yard freestyle (21.74 seconds) and junior Andrew Matjucha (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS) in the 500 free (5:00.40).

Also winning individual events for Bentley were freshman Leighton Wielgoszinski (Madison, Ind./Madison Consolidated HS) in the 1000 free (10:35.38), senior Tanner Eisenhut (Jamesville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius HS) in the 200 free (1:53.67), sophomore Eddy Erofeyev (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow HS) in the 200 individual medley (2:06.07) and sophomore Calvin Ye (Port Washington, N.Y./Paul D. Schreiber HS) in the 100 free (48.75).

The next meet for the Falcons is at home November 11 against Brandeis University.
