WALTHAM, Mass. – It was a clean sweep of Northeast-10 Conference weekly awards for the Bentley University women's swimming and diving team this week with sophomore Lucy Slowe (Millis/ Millis HS), senior Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) and Dariana Gonzales (Stamford, Conn./Westhill HS) the individual honorees.

Slowe received her second NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week award, Logozzo was chosen for NE10 Women's Diver of the Week honors for the second time and Gonzales was the Women's Rookie of the Week.

Bentley also received both Men's Relay Team of the Week and Women's Relay Team of the Week accolades, both for the fifth time.

Slowe competed in five individual events and two relays during the week and turned in the conference's best time of the week in all seven swims. Against St. Michael's, she captured the 200 yard freestyle in 1:58.00 and helped Bentley to a pool record 7:56.49 in the 800 free relay. Against Connecticut College, she was the first to touch in both the 500 free (5:13.17) and the 1000 free (10:39.85). She was also second in the 100 free (53.82) and part of the Falcons'400 free relay that was second (3:39.98).

In the two wins, Logozzo earned three wins and one second-place finish. Against St. Michael's, she was first from the three-meter board (238.35) and second from the one-meter (243.08). She swept the two one-meter competitions against Connecticut College with her combined score of 426.31 a pool record for 11 dives.

Gonzales turned in the NE10's fastest swims of the week in three individual events (1:55.58 200 free, 2:07.48 200 back, 2:11.73 200 IM) and two relays (3:39.98 400 free, 7:56.49 800 free). Against St. Michael's, she finished first in the 200 back and helped set a pool record in the 800 relay. She took first in the 200 IM against Connecticut College and was second in the 200 free and 200 back, as well as the 400 free relay.

The Bentley women captured the 800 free relay against St. Michael's with the time of 7:56.49 breaking the pool record at the Dana Center. Slowe led off and was followed into the pool by senior Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS), Gonzales and freshman Kathryn Galvin (Suffern, N.Y./ Suffern HS.

On the men's side, Bentley earned Relay team of the week honors after finishing second in the 200 medley relay against Connecticut College with the time of 1:35.86 the best in the conference during the week as well as a Dana Center record. Sophomores Oscar Chang (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West HS) and Zach Papsco (Northport, N.Y./ Northport HS) swam the first two legs and were followed by juniors Paul Homorodean (Milford, Conn./ Joseph A. Foran HS) and Clayton Bennice (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa HS).

The Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll included four other Falcons: senior Ariana Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy), Homorodean and sophomores Mark Zoda (Nashua. N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) and Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn/South Windsor HS).

Revelas won four events and achieved two seconds during the 2-0 week. She took first in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.10) and second in the 200 free (2:05.67) against St. Michael's, and was also part of the Falcons' 200 medley relay (1:58.39). She swept the breaststroke events against Connecticut College with times of 1:10.00 in the 100 and 2:31.48 in the 200, with both ranking second in the NE10 during the week. She was also fourth in the 200 IM (2:18.58) and part of a 200 medley relay team that was second in 1:54.59.

During the 1-1 week, Homorodean won two individual events, the 100 free against the Purple Knights in 48.40 and the 100 butterfly against Conn College in a pool record 51.25. He also helped Bentley take first in the 200 medley relay against the Camels with his 1:35.86 a pool record and an NE10 best for the week. Against St. Michael's, he was also second in the 50 free (21.79) and part of a 200 medley relay team that was third (1:45.80). Against Connecticut College, he helped the Falcons take second in the 400 free relay (3:10.80) and was third in the 50 free with the NE10's second fastest time of the week (21.48).
