Bentley Men Bounce Back with 192-107 Win at Babson

WELLESLEY, Mass. – After having its 39-meet winning streak halted on Saturday, the Bentley University men's swimming and diving team got back on track Tuesday night with a 192-107 win over Babson College at the Morse Swimming Center.

Senior Dan Sausto (Slingerlands,N.Y./Doane Stuart School) and sophomore Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) led the Falcons with each winning two events.

Sausto spent nearly 15 minutes in the pool while winning the 1000 yard freestyle in 9:59.94 and the 500 free in 4:48.75. Glick swept the diving with scores of 247.30 off the one-meter and 234.25 from the three.

Bentley's other individual winners were sophomore Mark Zoda (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) in the 100 free (47.18), classmate Zach Papsco (Northport, N.Y./Northport HS) in the 100 breaststroke (59.85), junior Paul Homorodean (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Foran HS) in the 50 free (21.51) and senior Sam Trozenski (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon HS) in the 200 breast (2:14.18).

Zoda and Homorodean also helped Bentley win the 400 free relay in 3:10.32 with the quartet also including junior Clayton Bennice (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa HS) and senior Alper Alkaya (Milan, Italy).

Bentley, 7-1, will close out its home schedule Saturday when it hosts Pace University at 1 pm.
