Coleman, Yoshihara & 2 Bentley Relay Teams Recognized by Northeast-10

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior Greg Coleman (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./ Sachem North HS), freshman teammate Jarod Yoshihara (Irvine, Calif./University HS) and two Falcon relay teams have been recognized by the Northeast-10 Conference for their performance in the team's dual meet at Norwich University on Saturday.

Coleman was recognized as the Men's Diver of the Week in the NE10 for the fifth time this season after helping Bentley to a 178-118 win by sweeping the one-meter diving events with scores of 174.25 and 261.00. He also finished first in the 50 yard butterfly  with a time of 24.54 seconds.

Yoshihara was tabbed the NE-10 Men's Rookie of the Week for the fourth time after posting victories in the 100 yard butterfly (55.24 seconds) and the 100 backstroke (55.02). He also swam a leg on a Bentley relay team that was fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:36.05).

The Men's Relay Team of the Week featured sophomore Ryan McGeary (Paramus, N.J./Bergen Catholic HS) and  seniors  Matt Ahlmeyer (Morristown, N.J./Morris Plains HS), Liam Bartlett (Syracuse, N.Y./William Nottingham HS) and Aidan Karam (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy). They combined for a winning time of 1:41.50 in the 200 medley relay.

Bentley also had the Women's Relay Team of the Week as senior Kaitlin McGahie (Boylston/ Tahanto Reg. HS) partnered with sophomores Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS), Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and Jennifer Seuling (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park HS) to take first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:58.92.

McGahie, Kaduboski and freshman Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) were selected for the conference's Weekly Honor Roll. All three were double-winners with McGahie reaching the wall first in the 100 fly (1:02.73) and the 500 free (5:24.74), Kaduboski posting winning swims in the 200 free (2:00.44) and 100 breaststroke (1:13.58) and Logozzo sweeping the two one-meter diving events (147.45, 218.80).

Bentley's next meet is January 11 at Pace.
