Coleman Tabbed as NE-10 Diver of the Week for 4th Time; Bentley Men’s Relay Team Also Honored

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior Greg Coleman (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North HS) has been cited as the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Diver of the Week for the fourth time in five weeks following his strong showing in Friday night's meet at Brandeis University.

Coleman doubled in the diving events at Brandeis, with winning scores of 267.60 from the one-meter board and 244.70 from the three-meter.

Also recognized as the men's Relay Team of the Week were the quartet of freshman Jarod Yoshihara (Irvine, Calif./University HS), senior Davis Wilson (Ransom Canyon, Texas/Lubbock HS) and sophomores Ryan McGeary (Paramus, N.J./Bergen Catholic HS) and Frank Elenio (Ridgefield, N.J./Bergen County Academies). They combined to help Bentley finish first in the 400 yard medley relay in 3:40.33.

McGeary and four other Bentley student-athletes were named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll: senior Kaitlin McGahie (Boylston/Tahanto Reg. HS), freshman Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./ Wethersfield HS) and sophomores Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS).

McGahie captured three individual events after helping the Falcons record a win in the meet-opening 400 medley relay (4:09.81). The first-place performances came in the 200 freestyle (1:59.88), the 100 free (55.28) and the 100 individual medley (1:02.59).

Kaduboski posted winning efforts in two individual events and participated on two relays that finished first. The individual wins came in the 200 butterfly (2:17.50) and the 200 backstroke (2:09.87).

Viator was the first to touch in both the 100 butterfly (1:02.02) and the 100 backstroke (1:02.23). She also was part of two relays that finished first.

McGeary swam to victory in the 200 free (1:48.32) and the 500 free (5:02.94) after helping Bentley win the 400 medley relay in 3:40.33.

Logozzo captured both women's diving events at Brandeis, amassing 250.55 points from the one-meter board and 199.85 from the three-meter.

Bentley returns to action Dec. 2-4 with the Gompei Invitational at WPI.
