WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomores Nicola Mancini (Falmouth, Maine/ Falmouth HS) and Colton Bridge (Tolland, Conn./Tolland HS) have been named the Diving Athletes of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference. It's the sixth time this season that Mancini has been recognized and the second award for Bridge.

Also recognized, as the NE-10 Men's Relay Team of the Week, was the quartet of seniors Peter Belanger (Andover/Andover HS) and Steve Sylvia (Westerly, R.I./Westerly HS) and sophomores Sebastian Bury (Bellevue, Wash./Newport Senior HS) and Nick Toselli (Barrington, R.I./Barrington HS).

Mancini remained undefeated on the season as she swept the diving in dual meets with St. Michael's and Saint Rose. She had scores of 202.80 and 281.69, both off the one-meter board, against the Purple Knights and tallied 289.65 in the one-meter and 282.30 in the three-meter in the Saint Rose meet.

In the same dual meets, Bridge captured three of four diving events while finishing second in the other. Against Saint Rose, he scored a first from the three-meter board, with his score of 254.20 a season-best, and was second off the one-meter (227.95). He also swept against St. Michael's, with one-meter scores of 178.87 and 234.37 for a total of 413.24.

Belanger and Sylvia, swimming at home for the final time, partnered with Bury and Toselli to win the 200 yard freestyle relay against Saint Rose. They posted a season-best time of 1:29.06, edging the Golden Knights by just 0.09 seconds.

In addition to the above six, senior Amanda Le (Chelmsford/Chelmsford HS) was named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll. She was perfect in a pair of dual meets as she stepped to the starting blocks eight times and came away with victories each time, placing first in three individual events and one relay in each. Against St. Michael's, she posted individual wins came in the 50 breaststroke (32.29 seconds), the 200 breast (2:28.40) and the 200 individual medley (2:16.92). Three days later, she was first in the 100 breast (1:09.25), the 200 breast (2:28.06) and the 200 IM (2:15.03) against Saint Rose. The latter two times were both season-bests in the Northeast-10.

This Saturday, Bentley swims at Keene State.
