Bentley Swim Teams Recognized by CSCAA for Academic Success

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University men's and women's swimming and diving teams have received Scholar All-America Team Awards from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the spring semester.

Bentley was one of only 11 Division II institutions to have both its men's and women's teams recognized. The Falcons were the only men's team in the Northeast-10 Conference to earn a team award, and one of three Northeast-10 women's teams to be recognized.

The women's team amassed a cumulative 3.25 grade point average during the spring, and the men had a 3.04 GPA.

The CSCAA presents the Team Scholar All-America Award to swimming and diving programs who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Both Bentley teams excelled in the pool as well as in the classroom this past year. The women's squad had an 11-0 dual record, finished first in the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships, was second in the Northeast-10 Championships and was 21st in the NCAA Division II Championships.

The Falcon men, after posting an 8-2 dual record, were second in the NEISDA Championships and third in the conference championships.
