WALTHAM, Mass. – Luke Hanchar was selected for first team All-Region honors by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, it was announced on Tuesday.

 The All-Region team encompasses student-athletes from the Northeast-10 Conference, East Coast Conference and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

A fullback, Hanchar was previously named the co-NE10 Defensive Player of the Year and first team All-Conference.

A junior, he played all 90 minutes in every match but one this season. In the one match he didn't go the distance he was subbed off with just two minutes remaining. In all he logged 1358 minutes to lead the team.

In addition to being strong defensively he also provided an offensive threat with two goals and two assists.

Hanchar helped the Falcons to a stellar 2023 season where they finished in second place in the NE10 regular season standings.

He will now advance to the All-America ballot, with the teams announced on Dec. 6.
