Men’s Soccer Visits Saint Anselm Wednesday for Non-Conference Tilt

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley men's soccer will make the trip up to New Hampshire on Wednesday for a non-conference match against Saint Anselm. The action gets underway at 3:30 PM and will be streamed on NE10 Now https://ne10now.tv/saintanselmhawks/

The Falcons are coming off a 3-0 opening day defeat to Caldwell on Saturday. The Hawks have played twice so far. A 1-0 loss at Molloy and a 1-1 tie with Saint Thomas Aquinas.

Last season's meeting between the Falcons and Hawks was a 2-1 win for Bentley on Senior Day. Saint Anselm scored first in the 23rd minute, but Bentley responded with a goal just over four minutes later from Yusuf Baig.

Then in the 66th minute, center back Grant Larson scored the game-winner off a throw-in, with Luke Hanchar on the assist.

Wednesday's match will be 55th all-time meeting between the two programs. Bentley holds a 26-22-6 edge.

The teams will play again, in the regular NE10 contest, on October 7 in Manchester.
