Rapant Earns Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Harrison Rapant (Pittsfield/Pittsfield HS) has earned the Northeast-10's Goalkeeper of the Week Award, the conference announced on Monday. It's the first time in his career he's been chosen for the distinction.

A sophomore, Rapant had a dynamite game in helping the Falcons earn a 0-0 draw at Adelphi on Sept. 27. The Panthers came into the game ranked 16th in Division II, but Rapant stopped all 11 shots on goal he faced in 110 minutes of action. He made 10 of his saves in the 2nd half and overtime.

His game against Adelphi was the 2nd time this season he has made double-digit saves. The other time was the season-opener against Post on Sept. 1 where he made 10 saves.

Rapant was also in goal for 45 scoreless minutes during Sunday's game against Saint Rose.

Rapant and the Falcons next take the field on Wednesday at Stonehill. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 pm.
