Zeiner Named To NSCAA All-East First Team
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior back Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) has picked up another postseason honor, as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America has named him to its Division II All-East first team.
Zeiner is one of 11 players named to the first team, after a season in which he led Bentley to the Northeast-10 playoffs for a fourth straight time, spearheading the team defensively and accounting for 10 points on four goals and two assists.
The NSCAA is the fourth organization to recognize his outstanding 2011 season. He was named a Capital One second team Academic All-America by CoSIDA, first team All-Conference by the Northeast-10 and second team All-East Region by Daktronics.
