WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior back Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) has been chosen to the Daktronics Division II All-East Region Men's Soccer second team, it was announced on Tuesday.

The recognition is the third of the postseason for Zeiner, who was already named first team All-Conference by the Northeast-10 and to the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District 1 team.

In his third season, Zeiner cemented his status as one of the region's top backs, and helped the Falcons reach the NE-10 playoffs for a fourth consecutive year. He was also among the team leaders in goals (4) and points (10) this year.

Zeiner, a co-captain this season, is one of nine players from the NE-10 voted to either the Daktronics first or second team, and is the only player selected from the conference not from Franklin Pierce or Southern New Hampshire.

Bentley finished its season in the first round of the NE-10 playoffs with a 9-7-2 record.
