WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's Weston Zeiner (North Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) has been named to the 2011 CoSIDA Capital One NCAA Div. II Academic All-District 1 Men's Soccer Team, the organization announced Friday.

A junior accountancy major, Zeiner is one of ten players named to the Division II All-District 1 Team. District 1 is comprised of schools in the Northeast-10, East Coast Conference and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

He will now be included in the ballot for Academic All-America selection.

On the field, Zeiner continued to establish himself as one of the best defenders in the region with his performance this season. He was tied for third on the team in goals (4), was fifth in points (10) and was named first team All-Conference for the second straight season on Thursday.
