WEST HAVEN, Conn. – An own goal by New Haven with less than three minutes to play in the second overtime led to a 2-1 win for the Bentley men's soccer team on Sunday in a Northeast-10 matchup.

A 41^st minute goal by New Haven junior Joseph D'Antonio was canceled out by Justin Cirasola's goal for Bentley in the 67^th minute and the game went into overtime tied at 1-1.

A miscommunication by the Charger goalkeeper and defense caused the own goal in the 108^th minute of the match and allowed Bentley to come away with its sixth win of the season.

Now 5-1 in the NE-10 the Falcons stay in a four-way for first place with 15 points. Their back in action for a non-conference game Wednesday afternoon at Bridgeport before facing Le Moyne next Saturday at home.
