Piersiak Tabbed as NE10 Defensive Player of the Week for Third Time
WALTHAM, Mass. – For the third time this season Kyle Piersiak has been tabbed as the Northeast 10 Defensive Player of the Week.
The sophomore from Needham, Massachusetts had eight caused turnovers and 13 ground balls in two games.
In Bentley's 15-6 win over Saint Michael's in the first round of the NE10 Championship he had three caused turnovers and five ground balls. In the final regular season game at Saint Rose on April 23 he had five caused turnovers, eight ground balls and one assist.
Piersiak was previously the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week on April 8 and March 18.
Also on Monday, goalie Jackson Tinsley was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after he had a 66.7 save percentage on Saturday.
The Falcons will take on Adelphi in the semifinals of the NE10 Championship on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
