Bentley Looks to Clinch Home Playoff Game Tuesday at Saint Rose

WALTHAM, Mass. – Men's lacrosse closes out the regular season on Tuesday at Saint Rose for a 4:00 PM game.

Playoff Picture

The Falcons go into Tuesday's game having already clinched a spot in the Northeast-10 Championship. With a 5-3 record they are tied for fourth place with Saint Michael's but own the head-to-head tiebreaker thanks to a 16-15 overtime win against the Purple Knights on April 9.

A Bentley win will see them clinch the fourth seed and set up a first round playoff game at home against the Purple Knights on Saturday.

Adelphi has clinched the first seed and the second seed will be either Pace or Saint Anselm.

National Ranking

Bentley is ranked 13th in this week's USILA poll.

Tinsley and Piersiak Named to NE10 Honor Roll

Goalie Jackson Tinsley and LSM Kyle Piersiak were named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Tinsley matched his career highs for saves (14) and save percentage (77.8) in Saturday's win over Assumption.

Piersiak had nine ground balls, two caused turnovers and scored a goal against the Greyhounds.

The two helped Bentley's defense limit Assumption to just five goals and hold them without a goal for 47 minutes of game time.

Piersiak and Parton Cause Havoc

Kyle Piersiak and Alex Parton have been one of the top defensive duos in the country this season. Parton is 8th nationally in caused turnovers per game (2.80, 28 total) and Parton is 11th (2.60, 26 total).
