WALTHAM, Mass. – No. 15 ranked Bentley rolled to a 20-5 victory over visiting Saint Michael's on Wednesday night. The win improved the Falcons' record to 7-4 overall and 6-2 NE10.
Conor Segreti (Darnestown, Md./St. John's) led the attack with four goals and two assists.
Segreti was one of five players to score multiple goals. Luke Jaber (Milton, Mass./BC High) and Nicholas Thorn-Guillaro (Wilbraham, Mass./Wilbraham-Monson) each had hat tricks and Hunter Smith (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) and Garrett Witt (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) had two each.
Cam Bartolomeo (Meriden, Conn./Xavier) won 15 faceoffs and scooped up 10 ground balls, while Alex Parton (Victor, N.Y./Victor) helped lead the defensive efforts with four ground balls.
Bentley never trailed after Witt scored the game's first goal at 12:54 of the 1st quarter. That was one of six goals they scored in the opening quarter to lead 6-2.
The Falcons also put up six goals in the 2nd frame, with six different scorers.
Bartolomeo added a goal in the 3rd quarter off of a faceoff win. That was one of eight goals Bentley scored in the 2nd half.
The Falcons have now won two straight games and three of four. They will visit No. 2 ranked Adelphi on Saturday.
