Astarita Named to USILA Team of the Week

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley University senior attacker Alex Astarita (Bedford, N.H./Bishop) has been named to the USILA Division II Team of the Week for his output in Bentley's wins over Assumption and Saint Anselm last week.

Astarita, who was one of four attackers named to the Team of the Week, totaled 10 points on six goals and four assists in Bentley's wins over Saint Anselm and Assumption last week, both of whom were ranked at the time.

He matched his career high of six points in the 11-8 victory over the Greyhounds on April 10, on four goals and two assists, with the four goals a new career best. Astarita then recorded two goals and two assists in the 10-8 win over Saint Anselm on Saturday.

Through 10 games this season, Astarita leads Bentley in all of goals (22), assists (13) and points (35). He surpassed the 100 career points milestone earlier this season on March 30 against Franklin Pierce.

Astarita and the Falcons, ranked 17th this week by the USILA, host No. 3 Adelphi on Tuesday night.
