Adler Drafted by Major League Lacrosse’s Denver Outlaws

WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University men's lacrosse standout Max Adler (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Northfield Mt. Hermon) was drafted by the Denver Outlaws in the Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft on Sunday.

Adler was picked 61st overall by the Outlaws, which was the 7th pick in the 7th round of the 10 round draft. Only two other players from a non-Division I school came off the board before him.

Adler dominated in the face-off circle like few others in the nation during his career at Bentley. This season he finished fourth in Division II in face-off winning percentage (67.9%), while he also ranked third in ground balls per game (9.54). As a junior, he ranked third in face-off winning percentage (.728) and fourth in ground balls per game (9.15).

A two-time USILA All-American (2nd team in 2017, 3rd team in 2016), he was also a two-time first team All-Northeast-10 selection (2016, 2017), a three-time All-New England choice (2015-17) and a CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 honoree for 2017.

Adler became the fourth Bentley player drafted by a Major League Lacrosse team. T.A. Demoulas '15, Kevin Gould '10, and Scott Yavarow '02 were all drafted by the Boston Cannons.
