Adler Picks up 4th Recognition, Named NE-10 All-Academic

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's Max Adler (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Northfield Mt. Hermon) added a 4th recognition to his offseason tally, as the junior face-off man was named to the Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic team.

One of the most dominant at his position in Division II this past season, the Florida named was previously named a third team All-American by the USILA, making him Bentley's first All-America selection since 2010. He was also voted first team All-Northeast-10 and first team All-New England by the NEILA earlier in the offseason.

At the end of the 2016 season, Adler ranked 3rd nationally in face-off winning percentage at .728 (195-268) and 4th in ground balls per game at 9.15.

He had a season-high 19 ground balls, while going 22-26 in face-offs, in a game at Southern New Hampshire on March 30. Adler also had a dominant game vs. Pace where he collected 18 ground balls and went 23-25 in the face-off circle on April 20. He had three other games where he picked up double-digit ground balls, including 11 vs. Merrimack on April 23.
