Demoulas & Sanford Earn All-Northeast-10 Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Two Bentley University men's lacrosse players, senior midfielder T.A. Demoulas (Lowell, Mass./Middlesex School) and freshman attacker Matt Sanford (Stratham, N.H./Bow) have earned All-Conference honors from the Northeast-10 for their play this season.

Demoulas was named second team All-Conference as a specialist and Sanford was voted to the All-Rookie team.

Demoulas started all 13 games for the Falcons as a defensive midfielder. He led the team with 13 caused turnovers and was second in ground balls (32). Demoulas, who was drafted by the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse in January, was named to the All-New England team as a junior and the NE-10 All-Rookie team as a freshman. He played in all 54 games Bentley played in during his four years and started all but three.

Sanford finished his freshman season tied for fourth on the team in goals (11), second in assists (9) and fourth in points (20). He scored in nine of 13 games this season, and posted two games with four points; at the District of Columbia March 11 (1 goal, 3 assists) and against Saint Rose March 21 (2 goals, 2 assists).
