WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior J.D. Ayer (Rochester, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit) was voted to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Division II All-New England team, the organization announced Wednesday.

Ayer was one of four players voted to the team at attack. A co-captain, he led Bentley in both goals (22) and points (27) this season and was fourth in assists (5). He had eight multiple goal games, including a hat trick in a 10-5 win over Assumption April 10 and a career-high four goals in a 10-7 victory at Southern New Hampshire April 17. He finished the season tied for 12^th in the Northeast-10 in goals.

Ayer helped Bentley go 5-5 in the NE-10 this season and earn its fifth straight playoff appearance.
