Michael Findorff begins his first season as an assistant on the Bentley hockey coaching staff with the 2017-18 season.

Prior to his arrival in Waltham, Findorff was an assistant coach on the staff of Atlantic Hockey rival Niagara University. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Utica College.

Findorff played collegiately at Miami University as a defensemen from 2005-09, where he helped the RedHawks to a run of four straight NCAA Tournament appearances. His career culminated in helping the program to the Frozen Four in 2009, where they advanced to the finals, before falling in overtime to Boston University. He went on to join the New York Islanders organization (AHL) in 2009, and the Phoenix Coyotes organization (ECHL) in 2010.

From Colorado Springs, Colorado originally, Findorff graduated from Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in business-management information systems. He earned a Masters of Business Administration from Utica.
