WALTHAM, Mass. – Jonathan Bendorf signed with the ECHL's Reading Royals last weekend and has played in three games since signing.

The ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, Bendorf started on March 8 in a 5-4 victory over Norfolk. He started again one day later in the second game of the series against Norfolk.

"We are excited for Jonathan to begin his professional career," said Bentley head coach Andy Jones. "He was a terrific addition to our team this season. He has a high skill level and is an outstanding teammate. His smile is constant, and he brought a fun energy each and every day. We can't wait to follow his progress."

Bendorf played in 27 games for Bentley during the 2023-24 season and notched three goals and three assists while pursuing his MBA. He played in 142 games in his NCAA career and was a second team All-Atlantic Hockey selection in 2021.
