Leyh Named Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week

Waltham, Mass. – Coming off a hat trick in Saturday's win over Union, Ethan Leyh was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week.

Leyh had a natural hat trick to help the Falcons to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Garnet Chargers at Bentley Arena on Saturday night.

His first two goals came just over two minutes apart in the first period to give Bentley a 2-0 lead. The first goal was on the power play at 7:18, and at 9:23 he finished off a break down the ice after taking a pass from Nick Bochen.

Leyh then completed the natural hat trick and gave the Falcons a 3-0 lead at 9:00 of the 2nd period after he scored a one-timer off a pass from Stephen Castagna.

His hat trick was the second by a Falcon this season, joining A.J. Hodges against Niagara on Nov. 10

On the season Leyh is tied for the team lead in points with 13, on five goals and eight assists.
