Pelino Repeats as Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second consecutive week, Bentley University's Aidan Pelino (Oakville, Ontario) has been named the Travel Team USA Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week.

Pelino backstopped Bentley to a pair of wins last week, which extended the team's winning streak to four games.

The week started with a 3-2 overtime victory over UMass-Lowell on Nov. 28, then ranked No. 18. He made 25 saves as the Falcons knocked off the Hockey East school. Three nights later, Pelino stopped 31 pucks as Bentley defeated Atlantic Hockey foe AIC 6-2.

His combined numbers for the two games were a 1.94 goals against average and a .933 save percentage.

Pelino was also named Goalie of the Week last week after he started both games in Bentley's sweep of Robert Morris. In the last four games the Ontario native is 4-0, with a .936 save percentage and a 1.97 goals against average.

This is the fourth Goalie of the Week award in his career, with two coming last season.

Bentley will go for its fifth straight win on Wednesday night when they visit Brown.
