Gorowsky Voted to Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University winger Ryner Gorowsky (Lino Lakes, Minn./Fairbanks) has been voted to the 2017 Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie team. Gorowsky finished the regular season with six goals and 13 assists for 19 points in 26 games.

Gorowsky finished the regular season 3rd on the team in points, despite missing seven games in the first half of the season. His points per game average of 0.73 is best among freshmen in Atlantic Hockey.

Gorowsky came back from his absence in a big way with a five-game scoring streak from Nov. 19-Dec. 9 where he had three goals and six assists. The streak culminated with a one goal, two assist effort in a 4-3 win over Robert Morris. He claimed two straight Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week honors in that time.

Notable in the second half of the season, Gorowsky had two assists in the Frozen Fenway win over Army, and also scored one goal in each game in the series against Air Force the weekend of Feb. 3.

The other players on the All-Rookie team are forwards Nick Hutchinson from Canisius and Dominic Franco from Army, defensemen Adam Brubacher from RIT and Alex Wilkinson from Army, and goalie Francis Marotte from Robert Morris.
