Vote Max French on Hobey Baker Award Fan Ballot
WALTHAM, Mass. – Max French (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna) of the Bentley University hockey team is on the fan ballot of the 2017 Hobey Baker Award. Starting now, fans can cast the votes for Max on the Hobey Baker website at http://www.hobeybaker.com/vote
In his senior season, Bentley's team captain has continued to pile up the numbers. He's tied for 4th in Atlantic Hockey in points with 26. His 16 assists on the season is T-6th in Atlantic Hockey, and his 10 goals are T-12th in the conference.
Recently named one of 15 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award, French has the 3rd most career goals among active NCAA players with 60, and the 4th most points with 130. He was named first team All-Atlantic Hockey for the 2015-16 season after he finished the season ranked 4th in the NCAA in points per game at 1.47 (47 points total).
French is also a three-time Atlantic Hockey All-Academic selection, and last season was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 At-Large Team.
Fan voting for the Hobey Baker Award will end on March 5. The Top Ten finalists will be named on March 15, followed by the Hobey Hat Trick of three finalists on March 30, and the winner being announced at the Frozen Four on April 7.
